Job summary

Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is a community-based multi-specialty medical group serving Seacoast NH with 200+ providers and a physician-led culture. The Medical Assistant supports clerical, clinical, and business functions under supervision of nursing staff.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to policies, and teamwork to ensure seamless patient experiences across locations. Vaccination is required for staff per policy.

Qualifications

• Certification required or within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties such as pre-visit work, vital signs, and assisting with examinations.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, stock exam rooms.
• Respond to patient portal messages on the same day.
• Complete pre-visit work, vaccines, and prescriptions per standing protocols.
• May schedule pre-admission and diagnostic testing; follow up with patients after procedures.
• Greet, check-in/out, schedule patients, manage phone calls and charts.
