Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years experience as a medical assistant (AAMA certification preferred).
• Medical terminology knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, ensuring appropriate patient flow.
• Update patient's medical chart with accurate and timely documentation.
• Manage phone triage and take appropriate action under the direction of the provider.
• Demonstrate ability and appropriate technical skills when administering treatments and procedures per physician orders.
• Provide patient education and personal patient care to address physiological and psychological needs.
• Process refills for prescriptions following clinic protocol under provider direction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Follow OSHA and state health department safety procedures.
