Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant (AAMA certification preferred).
• Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, ensuring appropriate patient flow.
• Update patient's medical chart with accurate and timely documentation.
• Manage phone triage and take appropriate action under the provider's direction.
• Assist with treatments and procedures per physician orders.
• Provide patient education and personal care to support comfort and well-being.
• Process prescription refills under clinic protocol and provider direction.
• Demonstrate positive interpersonal relationships with team and providers.
• Follow safety procedures per OSHA and health department guidelines.
