Job summary

Gastro Health in Edmonds is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a collaborative team and support patient care from Monday through Friday with consistent hours. The role emphasizes patient flow, chart documentation, and adherence to physician orders, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of MA experience, preferably CMA certified, and strong interpersonal skills to support a high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as Medical Assistant preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) preferred not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, ensuring appropriate patient flow.
• Update patient's medical chart with accurate and timely documentation.
• Manage phone triage and take appropriate action under the direction of the provider.
• Demonstrate ability and appropriate technical skills when administering treatments and procedures per physician orders.
• Provide patient education and personal patient care to support comfort and well-being.
