Job summary

SynergenX Health Holdings LLC in Webster, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This full-time role supports providers and clinical staff, performing routine venipuncture, injections, and basic lab tasks while delivering a compassionate patient experience.

No certification is required initially, with two weeks of paid training to learn our processes and fit into a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; physical documentation required.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 3 months of relevant medical experience performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals or documented completion of 180 externship hours.
• Previous venipuncture and injection experience is highly preferred.
• Basic computer skills required; must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine blood draws and venipuncture.
• Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure quality control procedures.
• Document and maintain accurate lab results and records.
• Run in-house laboratory testing and prepare specimens for outside facilities.
• Ensure labs are ordered and prepared for each patient.
• Complete weekly inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative teams.
• Assist with front desk responsibilities when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
• Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate patient care.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
