Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. seeks a NCT/Medical Assistant (CareNow) to support patient care with clinical duties and radiology tasks. You will gather vitals, assist with imaging, document in the EHR, and help with admissions and discharges. A strong team environment and patient-focused care are emphasized.

The role requires a high school diploma, MA program completion, and appropriate radiology licenses. AAMA certification and BLS are preferred; some positions offer a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (BOTP) required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect specimens, perform EKGs and IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update charts.
• Record history and document in the EHR accurately.
• Apply splints or dressings as needed and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Maintain logs for in-house and external lab work and screenings.
• Keep patients informed about clinic progress.
