Live Urgent Care in New Jersey is hiring a Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced urgent care team. You will escort patients, collect histories, measure vitals, and support clinical testing, medication administration, and front-desk tasks as part of patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a medical setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in Urgent Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to examination rooms, obtain medical histories, and measure vital signs.
• Perform basic laboratory testing and specimen collection, including urinalysis, blood draws, and COVID-19 swabs.
• Administer medications as directed by a medical provider, within clinic protocols.
• Greet patients, verify insurance information, and assist with appointments and patient registration.
• Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Support providers and colleagues to maintain efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
