Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for our urgent care team in Zeeland, MI. This part-time position supports the clinical staff and ensures high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires MA training or equivalent experience, a High School diploma, and BLS certification. CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA credentials within timelines are preferred to join a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on, in-person clinical skills training OR a minimum of one (1) year of experience working specifically in the role of a Medical Assistant, LPN, Paramedic or EMT performing direct patient care and clinical support functions consistent with MA scope of practice
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• One of the following certifications within 120 days: CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA

About Outpatient Clinics

Scope of work

As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Required
