Ideal candidates have EMR/HER experience, strong typing (40 WPM), and proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite. The position includes responsibilities such as handling prior authorizations, updating records, and coordinating medication refills.

Mid Cities Psychiatry specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health illnesses, including treatment-resistant depression and substance use disorders.

We are looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) for our reputable team of mental health professionals. Mid Cities Psychiatry has a structured environment having a culture where all our team members strive to work with each other.

Job Description:

Responsible for scheduling new and existing patients with a high degree of accuracy. Applicants must be willing to work full-time, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications:

• Must have a working knowledge/experience of EMR / HER

Job Requirements:

• Must have experience in handling prior authorization, pre-certification, and medication refills
• Must have experience in updating patient's medical records, uploading patient's charts, updating patient's history, and keeping track of medications, dosage, and side effects
• Coding and filling out insurance forms
