Job summary

SynergenX | Low T Center | HerKare is seeking a Medical Assistant in Indianapolis, Indiana. This part-time, onsite role supports patient care alongside providers and clinic teams, helping ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming environment for patients.

Two weeks of paid training are provided. No MA certification is required, and on-the-job training is available to build your skills in venipuncture, injections, and lab tasks. Reliable availability across clinic locations is valued.

Qualifications

• Physical copy of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of three months of relevant medical experience or 180 externship hours.
• Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification is preferred but not required.
• Venipuncture and injection experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.
• Ability to adapt to different clinic teams and workflows.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document manual vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections as directed by providers.
• Complete laboratory testing, specimen preparation, and documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and quality controls.
• Complete inventory counts and assist with supplies.
• Support front desk operations as needed.
• Follow HIPAA, safety standards, and clinic policies.
• Travel between assigned clinics to provide coverage.
