Job summary

City Colleges of Chicago is seeking a full-time Training Specialist for the Medical Assistant Program. The role involves delivering classroom, lab, and clinical instruction at multiple campuses, aligned with MAERB standards.

Requirements include CMA or RMA credentials, BLS/CPR certification, and at least two years as a Medical Assistant. Travel between MXC campuses and Provident Hospital is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Assisting or related field required; BS preferred.
• CMA or RMA credential required; BLS/CPR certification needed.
• Experience teaching Medical Assistant curricula and clinical skills.
• Ability to teach across multiple campuses and shift times.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, lab, and clinical instruction at designated sites.
• Develop syllabus, materials, and assessments aligned with MAERB.
• Provide syllabus, grading standards, and expectations to students.
• Lead curriculum review and updates for the MA program.
• Prepare lesson plans and employ diverse instructional methods.
