Job summary

PCC Community Wellness Center is seeking compassionate Medical Assistants to support patient care across our Chicago and near-west suburban health centers. Float MAs will work across various PCC locations, providing clinical and administrative support to providers and care teams while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

Graduate of a Certified Medical Assistant Program is required, with current MA certification preferred and CPR certification desired.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Certified Medical Assistant Program.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and current.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and perform routine patient intake.
• Direct patient flow and assist staff to maintain flow.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report changes to nurse.
• Perform laboratory and diagnostic tests as ordered.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and clean.
