AFC Urgent Care Portland is seeking a Medical Assistant Trainer to mentor back-office staff from onboarding to annual training. You will travel to multiple clinics, apply effective training techniques, and influence policy improvements. The role demands hands-on clinical support and coordination with clinic leadership.

Ideal candidates have MA certification, 1+ year in medical offices (urgent care bonus), and supervisory/training experience. X-ray experience (RT/LXMO) is a plus.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• MA certificate program or equivalent on-the-job training required.
• 1+ year experience in a medical office; urgent care experience bonus.
• 1+ year supervisory and/or training experience.
• X-ray experience (RT or LXMO) preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead onboarding for MA, externs, and MA temps across sites.
• Perform new hire systems onboarding and communicate training schedules.
• Conduct onsite training for new staff with flexibility.
• Develop and implement training programs aligned with company goals.
• Design curricula and teaching materials for staff development.
• Assess training needs and provide two-week hands-on instruction.
• Coordinate issues with Clinic Manager, Training Manager, HR.
• Travel between clinics to support training needs.
• Monitor trainee progress and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
