UVA Health offers the Medical Assistant Trainee (CMA) - Earn While You Learn program in Charlottesville, VA. The role provides paid on-the-job training and structured coursework as a full-time, benefitted employee, with no prior experience required beyond a high school diploma or GED.

During training, compensation is $16.00/hour with benefits; upon completion, $19.80/hour with benefits, for a 40-hour work week. 1-year commitment post-training is required with UVA Health.

Responsabilidades

• Performs basic clinical skills and administrative support under supervision.
• Identifies patients prior to interventions and documents vitals and screenings.
• Assists with patient rooming, examinations, and procedures under supervision.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness, and stock levels; supports quality incident reporting.
