Qualifications

• Licensure: AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required; current Medical Assistant Certification through recognized national association.

Responsibilities

• Assists in clinical operations and communication with team, providers, and patients.
• Performs clinical tasks such as rooming, intake, vitals, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.
• Provides support to licensed healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures.
• Keeps environment safe and organized; maintains supplies and equipment.
• Documents charges for services rendered within the patient visit.
• Provides administrative support: scheduling, filing, refilling meds, and clinic preparation.
