Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical assistant program or one year experience as MA.
• For the trainee path, high school diploma required with on-the-job training.
• No prior experience required for trainee; strong interest in patient care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Take patients to rooms and obtain vital signs.
• Assist with medical procedures and phlebotomy.
• Obtain lab specimens and administer medications and vaccinations.
• Maintain EMR and support scheduling, phones, and billing tasks.
• Support disability and FMLA paperwork as needed.
