The program combines classroom and clinical training with a Monday–Friday schedule (8a–4:30p) at the main location and other sites in Louisville and Southern Indiana.

Upon completion, transition to full-time Medical Assistant. The role involves clinical support, EMR use, patient interaction, and collaboration with physicians to implement care plans

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical assistant program or one year as a Medical Assistant.
• High School Diploma for Medical Assistant Trainee.
• On-the-job training provided.

• Taking patients to rooms.

• Assisting with medical procedures.
• Phlebotomy.
• Obtaining lab specimens.
