Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification as CMA or RMA preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and medications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Verifying insurance coverage and processing insurance claims.
• Perform basic clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs and administering medications.
• Assist providers with drug testing, physical evaluations, drawing blood and other clinical duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the back office and exam rooms.
• Provide patient education and answer patient questions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operation of the practice.
