Nao Medical in Mineola, NY is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a tech-forward clinical team. You will be the heartbeat of the practice, partnering with providers and delivering hands-on patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll perform phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen collection, and EMR documentation while upholding HIPAA standards and patient comfort. Competitive pay and full benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• CMA, EKG, and Phlebotomy certifications required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Infection control certification required.
• Comfort documenting in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Strong communication, empathy, and collaboration are essential.
• Experience in urgent and primary care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document chief complaints.
• Perform point-of-care testing including EKG, phlebotomy, and specimen collection.
• Assist Licensed Providers with minor procedures (wound care, ear lavages, breathing treatments, sutures).
• Maintain sterilization protocols to ensure patient safety.
