Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform routine tasks under the supervision of a physician or advanced practice clinician. You will assess patients, educate them, and support clinical workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, and one year of clinical experience or completion of an MA certification program. BLS certification is mandatory before orientation, with ongoing credentialing as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in a clinical setting or completion of a Medical Assistant certification program required.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Healthcare Provider (HCP) - AHA approved required.
• New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.
