Job summary

Trinity Health in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time day shift. You will prepare patients, take vitals, perform EKGs, draw blood, administer injections, and support in-office testing and procedures.

The role combines clinical support with administrative duties in a clinic environment. Minimum education includes a high school diploma or GED and completion of an MA program; preferred certifications include CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or CMAC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited MA program and externship/internship.
• Preferred CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/NAMHP certification.

Responsibilities

• Room setup and patient preparation.
• Take vitals (manual & electronic).
• Perform EKG and draw blood for tests.
• Administer injections and immunizations.
• Conduct point-of-care tests in-office.
• Assist with pharmacology and office procedures.
• Handle administrative duties as needed.
