Job summary

Trinity Health in Michigan seeks a Medical Assistant for a full-time, day-shift role in a clinic setting. You will prepare patients, take vitals, perform EKGs, draw blood, give injections, and support point-of-care testing and administrative tasks under licensed clinicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited/approved MA program and externship/internship, EMT, or Paramedic program.
• Preferred: MA certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC).
• 2+ years clinical experience if MA program not completed; new grads with clinical experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Prepare room and patient for visits.
• Take vitals (manual and electronic).
• Perform EKGs and draw blood; administer injections and immunizations.
