Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan Southeast office seeks a Medical Assistant to support patient visits under licensed clinical staff. You will handle room setup, vitals, EKGs, blood draws, injections, injections and immunizations, point-of-care tests, pharmacology tasks, and administrative duties to ensure smooth visit flow.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited MA program with externship/internship or EMT/Paramedic training.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; completion of accredited MA program and externship/internship, EMT, or Paramedic program.
• Credentials/Licensure preferred: CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, CMAC.
• Experience: 2+ years clinical support if MA program not completed; new grads or 1+ year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room setup and patient preparation.
• Taking vitals (Manual & Electronic).
• Perform EKG.
• Drawing blood and giving injections/immunizations.
• Performing point of care testing (POCT).
• Pharmacology.
• Administrative duties.
• May assist with in-office procedures/treatments.
