Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking Medical Assistants to join our clinic teams in Grand Rapids. The role involves preparing patients, taking vitals, performing EKGs, obtaining blood samples, administering injections, and supporting in-office procedures.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited MA program with externship; EMT/Paramedic pathways also considered. Day shift, full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited MA program with externship/internship or EMT/Paramedic training preferred.
• Certifications listed (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, CMAC) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Room setup and patient preparation.
• Taking vitals (manual and electronic).
• Perform EKG.
• Draw blood and administer injections/immunizations.
• Perform point-of-care testing in-office.
