Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Medical Assistant to work with Mercy Primary Care Providers in South County St. Louis. The role involves rooming patients, taking vitals, completing intake, reconciling medications, and documenting in Epic. In-office testing, injections, and procedures support are included.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and non-required MA certification with BLS to be obtained within 90 days. 6 months of clinical healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, complete intake, medication reconciliation, and Epic documentation.
• Perform in-office testing, administer injections/vaccines, and assist with procedures.
• Support preventive care through screenings, care gap closure, referrals, and follow-up scheduling.
• Assist with orders, prior authorizations, inventory, and general clinic operations.
