Mercy Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant for Full Time, 40 hours per week to support physicians in South County St. Louis clinics. The role involves patient rooming, vitals, intake, medication reconciliation, and Epic documentation as part of a patient‑centered care team.
Required: High School Diploma or GED and BLS within 90 days; preferred 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, especially in primary care. MA certification not required.
Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
