Job summary

Pulmonary Associates of Richmond is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for the Home Sleep Testing (HST) Lab in Mechanicsville, VA. You will perform clinical and administrative tasks, assist with home sleep test units, and support providers in a fast-paced sleep disorder clinic.

Ideal candidates have MA experience in a medical practice, familiarity with EMR systems, and the ability to take vitals and manage patient flow. This position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of MA experience in a medical practice.
• CNA or Certified MA training (preferred).
• EMR systems experience (preferred).
• Vital signs experience (preferred).
• Certified Medical Assistant or CNA (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work daily in the home sleep testing lab.
• Assist with sending out home sleep test units and prepare for next patient.
• Escort patients to the HST hub and help with paperwork.
• Instruct patients on unit use and answer questions after setup.
• Check front desk area and manage units for download and cleaning.
• Document patient activity accurately in EMR and relay information to providers.
