Job summary

Critical Care, Pulmonary and Sleep Associates is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Pulmonary and Sleep Physicians in outpatient clinics. Under supervision, perform routine clinical tasks to deliver safe patient care while fostering a collaborative team environment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program and ~1+ year experience. Proficiency in EMR and MS Office is expected, with HIPAA privacy compliance and patient-centered service emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Approximately 1+ years Medical Assisting experience.
• RMA or CMA preferred.
• HIPAA compliance and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Room patients in a professional and timely manner.
• Complete vitals, blood draws, injections, and obtain specimens as directed.
• Reconcile patient chart with medical history and medications.
• Prepare charts for visits with up-to-date information.
• Assist with clinic scheduling and patient flow.
• Handle orders and prior authorizations.
