Job summary

Pulmonary Associates of Richmond (PAR) is seeking a motivated full-time Medical Assistant to work in the Home Sleep Testing (HST) Lab at our Hanover PAR location. The role involves clinical and administrative duties for patients and providers, with duties including rooming patients, taking vitals, administering injections, and handling DME orders.

This position offers a full-time schedule in Mechanicsville, VA, with pay ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years MA experience in a medical practice preferred.
• Certification as CMA or CNA preferred.
• EMR experience is preferred.
• Experience with vital signs and patient assessment recommended.

Responsibilities

• Work daily in the Home Sleep Testing (HST) Lab.
• Prepare and configure home sleep test units for next patient.
• Escort patients and assist with paperwork and instruct usage of units.
• Document patient activity accurately in EMR.
• Perform injections, spirometries, and oxygen/nebulizer therapy as needed.
• Coordinate with Day Techs and CPP for equipment handling.
