Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; MA program graduate preferred.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Medical Assistant certification options accepted at start: CMA/CCMA/RMA/NCMA/NRCMA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment under provider direction.
• Handle check-in/registration and verify insurance eligibility.
• Record vitals (pulse, temp, BP, weight, height) and document in charts.
• Draw blood and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Open/close duties, answer calls, schedule referrals, and manage patient flow.
