GoHealth Urgent Care in Cromwell, CT is hiring a Medical Assistant to support urgent care operations. The role includes patient check-in, vital signs, basic phlebotomy, specimen prep, and preparing exam rooms; teamwork and strong communication are essential.

This position offers a sign-on bonus up to $3,500 for external candidates and a base hourly pay range of $20.00–$24.25, plus comprehensive benefits. A high school diploma and MA program completion are preferred, with BLS required at hire.

Formación

• Basic Medical Assistant duties will be performed.
• Ability to type quickly and use basic computer systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must meet BLS/CPR certification requirements at hire or within deadline.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients and verify insurance and eligibility.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments.
• Assist providers during exams and document medical history.
• Perform point-of-care testing and specimen handling as needed.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness of exam rooms and front desk area.
