Job summary

Denver-Sinus-Care in Denver, CO seeks a Medical Assistant & Scribe for our busy ENT and Skull Base care office. The role blends clinical support with precise documentation, ensuring patient comfort and accurate follow-up.

The position is typically 4 x 10 hour shifts per week, with a fast-paced environment that values organization, communication, and adaptability. The MA/Scribe will manage patient intake, assist providers, educate patients, and ensure smooth front-to-back clinic operations while

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office required; specialty practice experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems required; Athena knowledge preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Empathy and professionalism in patient conversations.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and complete Patient Intake: full medical history, vitals, prescriptions, tests; update patient chart.
• Optimize daily schedules through proactive patient management and efficient workflow coordination.
• Provide patient education regarding assessments, plans and expectations.
• Assist providers with day-to-day clinical operations and in-office procedures.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and outside referrals.
• Coordinate authorizations for medications, visits and imaging as required.
• Submit lab and imaging orders promptly; follow-up as needed.
• Document exams and communications for each visit or telehealth appointment.
• Utilize AI in scribing to ensure thorough and accurate records for every encounter.
