Job summary

Denver Sinus Care seeks a Medical Assistant & Scribe to support a busy ENT and Skull Base practice. The role blends clinical assistance with precise scribing, patient intake, and chart documentation. Schedule typically four 10-hour shifts per week, with emphasis on accuracy and patient care.

You will manage patient vitals, assist with exams, coordinate referrals, and ensure HIPAA-compliant records using Athena EMR in a fast-paced environment that values empathy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office required.
• Athena EMR experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Empathy and professionalism in patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and complete patient intake with full history, vitals, prescriptions and test results.
• Optimize daily schedules through proactive patient management and workflow coordination.
• Provide patient education regarding assessment, plans and expectations.
• Assist providers with day-to-day clinical operations and in-office procedures.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and referrals.
• Coordinate authorizations for medications, visits and imaging as required.
• Submit lab and imaging orders; follow up as necessary.
• Document exams and communications for each visit or telehealth appointment.
• Utilize AI with scribing to ensure accurate records.
