Hours: Monday-Friday, Dayshift. NO NIGHTS, HOLIDAYS or WEEKENDS!
Overview
The MA Scribe will function in two distinct roles: MA and clinical scribe. This unique role will manage the patient's entire visit, including but not limited to clinical pre-visit planning, a detailed rooming process, performing clinical office procedures, and scribing provider-directed documentation into the EMR. The MA Scribe will perform data collection, chart clinical patient encounters in real-time during assessments, plans of care, and discharges as dictated by the Physician, Provider, Clinician, or Therapist in a practice setting. The MA Scribe will document information into the electronic health record, edit as necessary, and return reports in electronic form for review, correction, approval, and signature. Perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
