ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) is seeking a Full‑Time Medical Assistant for our Riverhead office to support clinical teams in a fast‑paced environment.

The successful candidate will welcome patients, prepare exam rooms, assist providers, perform basic in‑office lab testing, and document visits while upholding HIPAA and patient confidentiality. Epic EMR experience preferred; CMA/RMA or MA certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or CMA/RMA certification; alternatives listed in posting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or EMT certification accepted.
• Five years of continuous Medical Assistant experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients in person or by phone and route inquiries appropriately.

• Verify and record patient information including medical history.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic in-office lab testing.

Job Description:

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), one of the nation’s largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology practices, is seeking a Full‑Time Medical Assistant for our Riverhead office.

Hourly: $23/hr

Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients in person or by phone; respond to or route inquiries appropriately
• Prepare patients for appointments by directing or accompanying them to exam rooms
• Verify and record patient information, including medical history and reason for visit
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures
• Prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic in‑office lab testing
• Maintain sterile instruments and properly dispose of contaminated supplies
• Educate patients on medications and provide instructions as directed
• Accurately document examinations, treatments, and test results
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferredStrong patient service skills with a commitment to delivering a positive patient experience

Education / Certification Requirements

Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification such as CMA or RMA. Alternatively, candidates with any of the following qualifications will be considered:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
• Five (5) years of continuous experience working as a Medical Assistant

Schedule

• Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm
• Saturday (1-2 per month): 8:00 - 12:00PM
