Job summary

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) in Morristown, NJ seeks a full-time Medical Assistant for our Madison Avenue office. You will welcome patients, assist clinicians, and handle routine in-office lab tasks.

This role requires strong patient service, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with Epic EMR. We offer comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Hourly wage is $23, with a schedule Mon–Sat as posted; employment is full-time.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or CMA/RMA certification.
• Alternative qualifications: Bachelor’s in Biology, EMT certification, or 5 years MA experience.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Strong patient service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients in person or by phone and route inquiries accordingly.
• Prepare patients for appointments by directing them to exam rooms.
• Verify and record patient information, including medical history and reason for visit.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic in-office lab testing.
• Maintain sterile instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
• Educate patients on medications and provide instructions.
• Accurately document examinations, treatments, and test results.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment functions properly.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), one of the nation’s largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology practices, is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Madison Avenue office.

Hourly:

$23/hr

Responsibilities:

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment

• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Strong patient service skills with a commitment to delivering a positive patient experience

Education / Certification Requirements:

Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification such as CMA or RMA. Alternatively, candidates with any of the following qualifications will be considered:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
• Five (5) years of continuous experience working as a Medical Assistant

Schedule

• Monday: 8:15am-4:45pm
• Tuesday: 8:45am-5:15pm
• Wednesday: 8:15am-4:45pm
• Thursday: 8:15am-4:45pm
• Friday: 8:15am-4:45pm
• Saturday (1-2 per month): 8:00 - 12:00PM
