Northwest Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinic operations. You will assist with procedures, manage exam rooms, and handle patient intake while delivering excellent service to patients and staff.

Responsibilities include vital signs, room preparation, intake duties, referrals coordination, and patient education. Strong organizational and confidentiality skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience in a medical practice or externship required.
• Basic knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with non-invasive procedures and take vital signs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms before visits and procedures.
• Handle patient intake, including test results, triage calls, and documentation.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation for the clinic.
• Support scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and communications.
• Educate patients on medications, diets, and health topics; ensure understanding.
• Maintain inventory and ensure supplies are stocked and equipment functional.
