Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care in Texas is seeking a Radiology Technician to provide back office patient care and radiology services in a fast-paced environment. You will perform procedures within policy and state regulations and assist providers during exams and treatments.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Graduate from an accredited radiology school and/or equivalent experience and current state certification where required or national radiology license.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology duties within scope of practice as stated in NextCare Policies and Procedures, as well as the state appropriate Radiation Rules and Regulations.
• Assists provider with exams, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care under direct supervision.
• Observes and communicates changes in the patient's condition to the provider on duty.
• Participates in the completion of the Daily Checklist, as well as any assigned duties and tasks necessary to maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations.
• Dispenses prescriptions and medications per policy.
• Follows guidelines and requirements of laboratory and clinical accreditation policies.
