Job summary

NextCare is seeking a full-time radiology professional to perform back-office radiology and related clinical duties at our San Antonio, TX clinic.

You will ensure compliance with policies, assist providers, manage safety, and participate in required education programs. State radiology certification or national license and CPR are required. Shift is variable and onsite at NextCare facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited radiology school or equivalent experience.
• Current state radiology certification or national radiology license as required.
• CPR certification from recognized organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology duties within scope of practice.
• Back office clinical duties under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and infection control standards.
• Communicate patient condition changes to the provider on duty.
• Assist providers with exams and procedures related to patient care.
• Complete daily checklist and other tasks for regulatory compliance.
• Participate in required education programs and meetings.
• Follow standing orders and lab/clinical accreditation guidelines.
• Dispense prescriptions per policy where applicable.
• Maintain logs for COLA inspections and quality controls.
• Engage in competency assessments and proficiency testing.
• Process specimens and report data to LIS.
• Recognize and report critical results promptly to the provider.
