Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a radiology-enabled clinician to provide back-office patient care and radiology services in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The role emphasizes adherence to safety, accreditation standards, and collaboration with on-duty providers to support exams and procedures.

The position requires a high school diploma, radiology certification or license as applicable, and readiness to participate in ongoing education and cross-training across front and back-office functions.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Graduate from an accredited radiology school and/or equivalent experience and current state certification where required or national radiology license.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology duties within the scope of practice as stated in NextCare Policies and Procedures, as well as the state appropriate Radiation Rules and Regulations.
• Perform back office clinical duties as defined by the Skills Competency Checklists.
• Maintain compliance with policies, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
• Observe and communicate changes in the patient's condition to the provider on duty.
• Assist provider with exams and procedures related to direct patient care under supervision.
• Complete the Daily Checklist and other duties to meet regulatory requirements.
• Participate in education programs and meetings as required.
• Follow standing orders and policies.
• Adhere to lab and clinical accreditation guidelines as applicable.
