Job summary

Logan Health's Pulmonary team seeks a Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant to join in Kalispell, MT. You will greet, room, and prepare patients, assist providers, and document in the EMR.

This full-time, evening shift (2:30 PM–10:00 PM) offers collaboration with physicians, nurses, and staff, plus opportunities for growth in a specialized pulmonary care setting.

Qualifications

  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
  • Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Perform competency-validated clinical tasks and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.
  • Coordinate patient care activities including referrals, diagnostic testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-up appointments.
  • Support daily clinic operations by maintaining exam rooms, equipment, and supplies while assisting with patient calls and portal communications.

What You’ll Be Doing

Qualifications
Preferred:
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
Preferred Experience
  • One (1) year of experience in a medical practice setting preferred.
  • Medical office experience and medical terminology training preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, basic laboratory values, pharmacology, infection control practices, and HIPAA requirements preferred.
Professional Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to professionalism, patient confidentiality, and exceptional patient care.
  • Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and empathy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software systems as needed.
Shift:

Day Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
