The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) in Houston, TX is seeking an Associate Medical Assisting (MA) Program Director to support the MA Program Director in delivering high-quality education. You will oversee curriculum development, staff supervision, and monitoring student progress in compliance with accreditation standards.

Ideal candidates have an Associate’s degree with 3+ years in medical assisting, current MA certification and CPR, plus teaching interest.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 3+ years of medical assisting experience.
• Current Medical Assisting Certification and CPR Certification.
• 3+ years of direct patient care experience.
• Preferred: Teaching experience or passion for training future medical professionals.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support instructional staff.
• Provide guidance and ongoing professional development for instructors.
• Assist in curriculum development and continuous improvement of MA curriculum.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements.
• Monitor student progress and retention; provide guidance as needed.
• Recruit, train, and develop qualified instructional staff.
