Aspire San Antonio is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a PRN position in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on educating, treating, and informing patients about their upcoming appointments, with a strong emphasis on maintaining patient relationships.

Responsibilities include assisting the physician, preparing patients for exams, documenting care in the EMR, organizing rooms, and handling scheduling and calls.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program; Certified or Registered MA is preferred.
• 2 years of experience required; OB/GYN experience is preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience is required; certification preferred.
• Proficiency in keyboarding and EMR usage; HIPAA knowledge is essential.
• Rotating weekend coverage/cross-training to support clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Document patient care in medical records accurately and timely.
• Organize, stock, clean rooms and sterilize instruments.
