Provides nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients. Assists physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting. Performs duties within a multidisciplinary patient care team and shares various tasks with other licensed and non-licensed team members.

REQUIRED

  1. High School diploma or equivalent
  2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification

PREFERRED

  1. Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program or being a graduate of a U.S. Military medic course
  2. One (1) year of healthcare experience
  3. Visual color acuity screening, depending on the role and specific units
