Job summary

Cooper University Health Care’s pediatric practice seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support exam room setup, patient intake, and clinical tasks. You will document vitals, perform EKGs, medication reconciliation, and assist providers with minor procedures in a busy outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include patient interviewing about health changes since last visit, medication preparation for injections, and handling phone messages and front-desk duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant certification required.
• Experience performing vital signs, EKGs, and medication reconciliation.
• Knowledge of medical insurance terminology and scheduling processes.

• Responsible for phone messages, faxes, and Medical Reception responsibilities as needed
• Knowledge of medical insurance terminology, computer skills for scheduling and familiarity of general officeprocedures and equipment
