Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in New Jersey is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support patient intake and care coordination. You will set up patients in the exam room, document vital signs, perform EKGs, reconcile medications, record visit reasons, and communicate health concerns to the provider.

You will also interview patients about changes since their last visit, assist the provider with minor surgical procedures, prepare medications for injections, and manage phone messages, faxes,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Certified Medical Assistant.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Set up patient in the exam room.

• Document reason for visit and health concerns.

Short Description

• Responsible for setting up the patient in the exam room
• Perform and Document:
• Vital signs (manual BPs),
