Every interaction matters, and every team member plays an important role in helping our patients build healthier, more confident lives.

We're looking for an energetic, compassionate, and team-oriented Medical Assistant who enjoys connecting with people just as much as providing exceptional clinical care. If you're someone who naturally encourages others, enjoys staying busy, and believes a smile and kind word can change someone's day, we'd love to meet you.

Position Overview

As a Medical Assistant, you'll work closely with our providers and Operations Manager to deliver exceptional patient care while helping create a welcoming, organized, and positive clinic environment. You'll combine clinical skills with outstanding customer service to ensure every patient feels supported throughout their health journey.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
  • Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs.
  • Perform body composition analysis, urinalysis, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
  • Administer IM injections in accordance with clinical protocols.
  • Prepare laboratory orders and assist with reviewing incoming laboratory results.
  • Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical readiness.
  • Assist the provider with patient care and referrals when appropriate.
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to review progress, answer questions, and encourage patient success.
  • Educate patients on supplements, wellness products, and other clinic offerings.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold clinical standards.
Patient Experience

Every visit should leave patients feeling encouraged, respected, and motivated.

  • Welcome patients warmly and create a positive first impression.
  • Build trusting relationships through active listening and compassionate communication.
  • Celebrate patient milestones and successes.
  • Help patients feel comfortable asking questions.
  • Reinforce treatment plans and encourage accountability.
  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience from check-in through checkout.
Operations & Team Support
  • Answer phones and assist with appointment scheduling.
  • Support insurance verification and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain inventory of clinical and office supplies.
  • Scan and upload documentation into patient records.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinic.
  • Participate in community outreach, wellness events, and clinic marketing initiatives to help build awareness and patient engagement.
  • Assist in training new team members as requested.
  • Look for opportunities to improve clinic efficiency and patient experience.
Qualifications
  • Medical Assistant certification (required)
  • Experience with phlebotomy, EKGs, and IM injections
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable learning new technology and EMR systems
  • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
Experience We Value
  • Medical weight management
  • Nutrition and healthy lifestyle coaching
  • Customer service with a passion for helping others.
  • Motivational interviewing
  • Insurance verification and front office responsibilities
  • Sales or patient enrollment experience in a healthcare or wellness setting
This Role Is FOR You If...
  • You genuinely enjoy helping people succeed.
  • You naturally encourage and motivate others.
  • You enjoy building relationships with patients.
  • You take pride in providing exceptional customer service.
  • You enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
  • You're organized, dependable, and proactive.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day is different.
  • You believe every patient deserves kindness, respect, and encouragement.
This Role Is NOT For You If...
  • You prefer minimal patient interaction.
  • You're uncomfortable educating or encouraging patients.
  • You view clinical care as transactional rather than relationship-based.
  • You don't enjoy working collaboratively with a team.
  • You're resistant to feedback, learning, or continuous improvement.
Compensation
  • Competitive hourly pay (commensurate with experience)
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Employee discounts on clinic services and wellness products
Position Details
  • Part-Time (24–30 hours/week)
  • In-person position
