Job summary

The Phoenix Edge PLLC is a patient-centered clinic in High Point, NC, seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant. You will support clinical excellence and patient experience in a fast-paced environment, handling injections, patient education, and documentation.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience preferred (Certified MA).
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification required.
  • Demonstrated competency in IM and subcutaneous injection techniques.
  • Strong computer and clinical documentation skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Administer injections as ordered by provider.
  • Verify medication and doses.
  • Educate patients on injection site care and medication storage.
  • Ensure clinical rooms are stocked, prepared, and compliant.
  • Process and coordinate prescription refill requests.
  • Respond to patient clinical questions via phone.
  • Triage patient concerns and elevate appropriately.
  • Assist providers as needed.

Office Hours:
  • Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (closed 1:00–2:00 PM for lunch)
  • Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (closed 1:00–2:00 PM for lunch)
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM - would work some Fridays
The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant. This position is ideal for a highly motivated Certified Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of clinical excellence and patient experience.

What You’ll Do
Clinical & Patient Care
  • Administer injections as ordered by provider
