Job summary

Marathon Health in Forrest City, AR, is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. The MA will support a clinic physician, handle front-desk tasks, take vitals, administer injections, and assist with procedures, delivering excellent patient care and a welcoming guest experience.

Minimum 1 year MA experience, formal MA program completion, and CPR/BLS certification are required; phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred or required by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document data in the medical record and communicate results to patients.
• Participate in outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
