Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our clinical support team in Ludington, MI. You will work closely with physicians and nurses to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1 year of healthcare experience (preferred), and BLS certification within 120 days; CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA credentials are also accepted within 120 days. This is a part-time, on-site role with potential for additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting preferred.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 120 days.
• One of CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA required within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, support clinical staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver efficient, compassionate service.
• Assist with exams, patient prep, and basic clinical tasks as directed.

Job description

This position requires at a minimum two 8 hour shifts every 6 weeks. There is potential to work up to part time hours when needed, and available. Please note that you would need to be able to train at a minimum of part time hours for the initial 4-8 weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 120 Days

  • AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
